A string of auto accidents have occurred lately in North Texas. First, in Richland Hills, a woman and her children were hurt on sunday when her child was ejected from the rolling car.

The accident occurred around 7:30 at the 6900block of 121, just west of Handley Ederville Road. The car left the roadway and crashed into a drainage ditch and then a light pole. The woman’s six month old was ejected from the car while her son stayed in the vehicle, receiving internal injuries.

Both the woman and the child were taken to the hospital by an air ambulance. At this time we don’t know what the condition of both the woman and the child is.

And in Bedford, a 27 year old Dallas man was killed after the car he was in crashed into a guardrail and utility pole on Airport Freeway.

Police said that the driver of the car lost control of his vehicle around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday after traveling eastbound on airport freeway. The car left the highway and struck a guardrail on the right hand shoulder, then it spun into a pole. Christopher Thelitz died from his injuries at the hospital. The woman driver of the car was taken to a hospital but is expected she will recover.
