The son of a woman who operates a daycare near Birmingham, Alabama was arrested for daycare abuse after assaulting a child. The arrest came after months of suspicion. Pouya Goudarzi is accused of shoving a pull-up diaper into a 4-year-old child’s mouth and causing injury to the child.
Allegations and suspicion began in November of 2007, but police were unable to prove the daycare abuse. Last month a staff member corroborated the boy’s story to police which gave them enough for an arrest.
The daycare, ABC Childcare in Union, AL was issued more than three dozen violations recently.
